BMW Unveils New Models at NAIAS 2017

The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) is one of the biggest automotive events of the year. It is a chance for manufacturers and designers to reveal new models and technologies. While these brand new features won’t start appearing in our extensive pre-owned BMW inventory right away, it’s always exciting to see the options and designs that will be coming down the pipeline to us here at Certified Autoplex in Carrollton TX. What BMW Vehicles Will Be Shown at NAIAS 2017?

While BMW will have a variety of models available to view and explore at NAIAS 2017, there are a few new vehicles and special features that we are especially excited about. A few of these include the new BMW 5 Series and various specialty models, new optional features on the BMW 6 Series, and the U.S. debut of the sporty BMW Concept X2.

New BMW 5 Series

The new BMW 5 Series will makes its world premier at NAIAS 2017 with new features and capability including available digital services like a Remote 3D View owners can use from their smartphones and a personalized display on the vehicle’s startup screen.

New specialized models of the classic 5 Series will also appear at the auto show, including a plug-in variant of the BMW 530e iPerformance which will be able to deliver sporty handling and a dynamic style while producing zero local emissions. The BMW M550i xDrive will also make its first appearance. This vehicle combines the handling and performance of a sports car with the practical dimensions of a business sedan, and tops it off with premium BMW engineering.

6 Series Optional Equipment

New optional equipment for the BMW 6 Series Coupe, BMW 6 Series Convertible, and BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe add engaging accents for the interior and exterior of these models. Some of these available options includemCarbon Fiber trim finishers and unique wheels.

BMW Concept X2

Last but not least, the BMW Concept X2 will make its first appearance in the United States during NAIAS 2017. This sleek and compact crossover has a lean profile, a bold front fascia design, and a take-no-prisioners attitude. We are excited the BMW Concept X2 debut!
