Outside of St. Patrick’s Day festivities, one of the best ways to capture the spirit of the Emerald Isle is to visit a traditional Irish pub for good food, good company, and good times. St. Patrick’s Day Festivals 2017 in Dallas TX
We’ve already written about some of the best transportation options to get to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dallax TX, but now we want to look at a few more of the festivities available for folks in DFW. With many celebrations falling on the weekend before St. Patrick’s Day, and some after, partiers can enjoy two weekends of festivities.
Irish Pubs in Dallas TX
The Irishman
Located at 18101 Preston Rd. Suite 102, The Irishman pub offers a warm atmosphere, and food ranging from traditional fish and chips to grilled salmon, and all appetizers and beverages in between. They also show games all weekend. It is open 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
The Dubliner
Featuring imported beer, whiskey and authentic Irish welcome, The Dubliner is located at 2818 Greenville Avenue. It is open Mon-Fri from 4 p.m., Saturday from 2 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. It closes at 2 a.m. daily. This pub offers special St. Patrick’s Day events.
Malarkey’s Irish Tavern
This newer location offers many attractive specials and events. It is located at 4460 Trinity Mills Rd. Suite 100 in North Dallas. We are not sure when they are open usually. Malarkey’s Irish Tavern will be having special events for St. Patrick’s Day.
The Idle Rich
With an interior that lends itself to community as well as good food and drink, the Idle Rich at 2614 McKinney Ave is an excellent Irish pub. They are open 11:30 a.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday and 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Closing is 2 a.m. The Idle Rich has special St. Patrick’s Day events for 2017.
Trinity Hall
Located at 5321 E. Mockingbird Lane, the Trinity Hall Irish Pub offers hundreds of beverage options, regular events, and great food. It generally opens 11 a.m. Monday – Friday, and 8 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday (earlier for special matches), Closing is 1:45 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and midnight otherwise.
