Distracted driving is dangerous. While it may not seem that way when that VERY IMPORTANT text or call comes in, it can really cause serious injury. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that approximately 1,161 people are injured per day because of a distracted driver. That’s a lot of accidents. While some car companies are working on driver assistance technology that will be able to minimize the impact of distracted driving (both literally and figuratively) we aren’t there yet.
