If you’re wondering what Toyota’s luxury car is, there is more than one way to answer that. First and foremost, Toyota’s luxury brand is Lexus, which features a full lineup of sedans, SUVs, coupes and hybrids. However, there are a few Toyota models including the Avalon and the Land Cruiser, which have been considered luxury vehicles as well. Our team here at Certified Autoplex is going to dive deeper into this topic to give drivers a better idea of what luxury vehicles Toyota has to offer.
Aside from the Avalon and the Land Cruiser, there are other luxury choices on the Toyota lineup. However, this is where things get a little bit tricky. What some may consider to be luxury, others may not. We’ve tried to clear up the confusion a bit in our previous post. If you missed it, check it out below:

Does Toyota offer any luxury cars?
What we’re getting at is that there are high-end, luxury trims available to choose from for various Toyota models. For example, the iconic Toyota Camry is known as an affordable midsize sedan. However, there are plenty of trims to choose from for this model, and a few of them come equipped with top-of-the-line features such as heated seats and pre-collision safety systems. Depending on your definition of luxury, these trims might just make the cut.
Aside from these high-end trims, we already mentioned the Toyota Avalon sedan and the Toyota Land Cruiser SUV are Toyota’s signature luxury vehicles. We’re going to point out some features below that allow these models to fall into this category.
Toyota Avalon: Luxury Features –
- Leather-trimmed seats & soft-touch materials
- Premium heated & cooled seats
- Power rear window sunshade
- HD predictive traffic
- Rain-sensing windshield wipers
Toyota Land Cruiser: Luxury Features –
- Leather-trimmed, heated steering wheel
- Ventilated & heated seats
- Rear-seat DVD entertainment system
- Multi-terrain Monitor
- Center console cooler box
Some may argue these two Toyota models are not luxury vehicles, but the key is that the discussion of which vehicles are and are not luxury is up for debate. Our team here at Certified Autoplex will continue explore the concept of luxury vehicles in our blog to try and come to a more clear consensus.
