The Lexus IS has been constantly improving. The 2016 models offered new powertrain options, and now the 2017 Lexus IS is taking its design to a whole new level. Aside from the overall appearance, the biggest change is having the Lexus Safety System+ as standard equipment. This includes a Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Intelligent High Beams and High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. It also offers a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert depending on the trim.

2017 Lexus IS: Available Features –

Just like the 2016 Lexus IS, there are three models available to choose from: IS 200t, IS 300 with all-wheel drive and IS 350, which offers rear- or all-wheel drive. Each of the three models has a F SPORT trim as well for drivers in need of bold style and increased performance.

Major changes for the 2017 Lexus IS are mostly cosmetic with new headlamps and larger air intakes on the front end with an updated spindle grille. The F SPORT trims have a unique front grille to set them apart from the rest of the IS lineup. Drivers will also have the choice of two new exterior colors – Caviar and Nightfall Mica.

As for entertainment, the multimedia systems are also receiving an upgrade with Scout GPS Link and an available 10.3-inch LCD screen. There is also a 4.2-inch full color multi-information display which includes audio, trip information, navigation, phone and ambient temperature.
